MY STORY

I began my journey in South Africa, dreaming of becoming a fashion designer. As a rebellious teenager, I quit school at 16, determined to carve my own path—refusing to follow the crowd or conform.

Throughout my adult life, I’ve always been captivated by colour, textures, and design, even though I’m not a formally trained designer. I worked in the corporate world, paying the bills but missing the passion and purpose I truly craved.

Then one day, I realised—sometimes, you just have to start. To be brave, to work hard, to stay flexible, and to keep pushing forward. My muse is my dog, Kika—whose name inspired everything I do. I started with something simple: a dog bed that was beautiful, meaningful, and made to fit into my home, not a cheap mass-produced piece.

That little project lit a fire in me. Today, my mission is to craft home décor that sparks joy, makes you gasp with delight, and feels just as good in your heart as it does in your home. Every piece is made with love, designed to earn great reviews, and created with a mindfulness for our planet.
